I am a professional trainer and developer based in Cologne, Germany. I teach Data Science, Machine Learning and Python programming at SPICED Academy.

I also developed and taught other programming courses: Data Analysis with R, a five-day introductory course for researchers and students at the University of Cologne. Introductory Statistics with Python and the Pandas Library, a German online course for Data Librarians.

Previously, I was a researcher working together with Prof. Philipp Schaer at Technische Hochschule Köln and with Prof. Bela Gipp at the University of Wuppertal. My primary research focused on fairness and bias measures in Information Retrieval systems.

Before that I worked for the GESIS Department of Computational Social Science where I collected, analyzed, and visualized large amounts of textual, social media data. I studied Economics and Computer Science at the University of Cologne and the Distance University in Hagen.
